Richfield Vineyard is located on a very special pocket of land at the foothills of the Great Diving Range in the New England wine-growing region. Positioned on the cross roads outside of Tenterfield, this 30 hectare “pocket of gold” produces exceptional wines of Chardonnay, Verdelho, Semillon, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ruby Cabernet.

Sitting at an altitude of 700m, the temperate climate of the vineyard has a touch of humidity akin to regions in France such as Burgundy. These exceptional climatic conditions combined with the granite-rich soil create ideal growing conditions.

Internationally renowned viticulturalist Dr Richard Smart was instrumental in the early development of Richfield Vineyard and predicted that: “Richfield will set the benchmark for vineyard development in the region.”
